What does the Working Group do?

The Manufacturers and Suppliers Working Group is one of the key professional communities of the Hungarian Battery Association. Its core mission is to strengthen business relationships among member companies and to enhance the capabilities of domestic suppliers within the battery industry and related value chains.

The Working Group regularly organizes:

• supplier and manufacturer forums,
• business networking and matchmaking events,
• factory visits,
• company presentations and professional workshops.

A flagship activity of the Working Group is the operation and continuous development of the HUBA Competence Map, which transparently presents the services, technological capabilities, and industry connections of member companies.

What are its main objectives?

The Working Group’s key objectives include:

• strengthening the domestic battery industry and related supplier ecosystem,
• increasing the market visibility of Hungarian companies domestically and internationally,
• facilitating new business collaborations and concrete projects,
• developing supplier competencies, quality assurance systems, and technological readiness,
• continuously expanding the HUBA Competence Map as an effective tool supporting members’ sales and partnership-building activities.

The long-term goal of the Working Group is to improve the competitiveness of Hungarian companies within the supplier chains of multinational corporations operating in Hungary, as well as in export markets.

• are active in the battery industry, energy storage, e-mobility, or renewable energy sectors,
• operate as manufacturers, suppliers, recyclers, system integrators, or engineering service providers,
