The main objective of the HUBA Energy Storage Working Group is to support the uptake of energy storage in the Hungarian electricity system. To this end, it actively takes part in the shaping of the domestic regulatory environment through participation in the DSO and TSO Network Code Committees, and by providing recommendations and forming positions on higher level regulatory issues and storage support schemes.

In addition, the Working Group monitors the development of European regulation on storage and participates in the EU consultation process through its EASE membership.

Another objective of the Task Force is to disseminate knowledge on energy storage technologies, use cases and applications to its members.

We follow the development of the domestic storage market and actively shape its future.

We welcome as members all stakeholders who wish to learn about the Hungarian and regional energy storage market, obtain up-to-date and relevant information and influence the regulatory framework.
