The primary task of the Research, Development, Innovation and Education (R+D+I+Education) task force is to support industrial partners in the battery value chain in the identification and design of national and international development projects, in the establishment of international consortia and to provide technical support during the application phase. It is also responsible for monitoring scientific/technological research and industrial developments in the field of electrochemical energy storage, identifying new knowledge and disseminating knowledge. In its educational role, the Task Force is developing training programmes on battery industry topics. It also plays an important role in intra- and extra-membership cooperation, including contacts with other companies, universities or research institutions. The R+D+I+Education Task Force aims to foster innovation among industrial partners and to develop the skills of specialist professionals in the battery value chain to increase competitiveness and sustainability.
