On October 1, 2025, the Hungarian Battery Association and KÖR held a joint professional forum in Budapest. The event focused on a detailed professional introduction of KÖR Innovatív Zrt. and on strengthening supplier relations within the industry.
KÖR Zrt. is an internationally recognized player in the field of battery testing, collaborating with more than 100 accredited and certified battery testing laboratories across Europe, as well as an additional 3,000 testing facilities worldwide. Its services cover the full spectrum of battery cell, module, and pack testing and validation — from safety and performance assessments to environmental, mechanical, and electrical testing, along with the development of customized quality assurance protocols.
The forum’s program began with KÖR presenting its activities and future cooperation opportunities, followed by short supplier presentations showcasing individual solutions. The day concluded with one-on-one B2B meetings and informal networking sessions.
The event highlighted one of the major challenges facing both the Hungarian and international battery industry — the need for sufficient testing and validation capacity. In this area, KÖR Innovatív Zrt. plays a key role, offering reliable, scalable, and standards-based solutions.
The Hungarian Battery Association aims to use such forums to strengthen supplier networks, support domestic companies’ entry into international markets, and promote the development of a sustainable and safe battery value chain.
